Mac & Bone Recap the 2025 NFL Draft
Mac & Bone Recap the 2025 NFL Draft

After months and months of hype, anticipation, mock drafts, and other NFL Draft scuttlebutt, the 2025 NFL Draft came and went this weekend, with the Panthers adding eight players, four on offense, and four on defense, ahead of the 2025 season. After drafting a wide receiver in the first round, Carolina was able to address needs on the defensive side of the football on Friday night, while drafting both sides of the football on Saturday, as Dan Morgan completed his second draft as GM of his former team. The Mac and Bone Show has spent the last four months dissecting the draft from many possible angles, and the guys were eager to get in the studio today to talk about the totality of the draft.
They started the show off with a general recap of the draft, in the show’s second segment, as they talked about each draft pick the team made on Friday and Saturday, with a primary focus on the defensive players that were selected.
In the second hour, the guys take a look at each and every draft pick to determine their favorite picks from the draft and which draft picks were among their last favorites, which wasn’t hard for either guy to identify.
And then in the third hour, the guys played sound from both Dan Morgan and Dave Canales, as they both talked about the draft class, and how they went about the process of selecting each player, and the guys debate, with four defensive players drafted, if the team did enough to address that side of the football over the weekend.
You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show) every weekday from 6-10 AM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
