An anonymous survey of NBA players has ranked the Golden State Warriors as the league’s top organization, while placing the Charlotte Hornets at the bottom.

The survey, conducted by The Athletic and reported by journalists Sam Amick and Josh Robbins, polled 137 players. Of those, 21.9% selected the Warriors as the best-run franchise in the NBA. In contrast, 38.1% of 113 players identified the Hornets as the league’s worst organization.

Charlotte is coming off a 19-63 season—its third consecutive losing campaign and the franchise’s worst record since the shortened 2011-12 season. Despite having promising young players like LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges, and Mark Williams, the team struggled with injuries and failed to find consistency.

The Hornets underwent an ownership change in 2023, when Michael Jordan sold his majority stake to Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall.

Following Charlotte in the “worst organization” voting were the Washington Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, and Chicago Bulls.
