Clark Kellogg & Brendan Haywood Join WFNZ Ahead of Final Four

We’re just a little over 48 hours away from the start of the 2025 Final Four, as Duke, Houston, Auburn, and Florida will play on college basketball’s biggest stage for the right to determine this year’s national champion. For the second time ever, all four #1 seed have made their way to San Antonio, making this arguably the most stacked Final Four in the history of the NCAA Tournament, even with Duke having emerged as the team to beat. Either way, history will be made this weekend, as either Jon Scheyer will win his first title as Duke’s head coach, Houston or Auburn will win their first title ever in program history, or Florida will win its first title since 2007, when they won back-to-back championships. To help preview this weekend’s games, Mac & Bone were joined by two distinguished guests in the college basketball community, Clark Kellogg and Brendan Haywood.

First up was Clark Kellogg, who joined the show to preview the Final Four, as he talks about what makes this Duke team special, the challenge that Houston will present the Blue Devils on Saturday, who he thinks will win the Auburn/Florida showdown, and more.

After Kellogg joined the show, Brendan Haywood, former UNC standout, joined the show, as Brendan tells you why Duke is the clear favorite to cut down the nets, he explains why he thinks Hubert Davis will right the ship at UNC, and what he makes of the current state of the sport, in regard to NIL and the transfer portal
