Could The Panthers Spend Big For Defensive Players In FA?

The NFL Combine has come and gone, which means we are just a week away from the legal tampering portion of Free Agency getting underway. Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer joined Kyle Bailey to discuss all that he heard from the combine in regards to how the Panthers offseason could play out.

One of the FA names that has been linked to the Panthers is DT Milton Williams Mike told Kyle that he thinks there is no better fit for a guy to play alongside both A’Shawn Robinson and Derrick Brown than Milton Williams. Mike also pointed out how he was able to be utilized all across the line of scrimmage with DC Vic Fangio, who runs a similar defense to what Ejiro Evero

The conversation would also focus on if multiple safeties could be on the Panthers radar in free agency, and if it is almost a foregone conclusion that Carolina will use the 8th pick on a defensive player.
