It was another doom and gloom Panther Monday on the Mac & Bone Show, after the Panthers lost to the Cowboys yesterday, 30-14 in a game that wasn’t even that close. Bryce Young struggled to protect the football, turning it over a career-high 4 times, including turning it over on the opening possessions of the first and second halves. The loss drops Carolina to 3-11 on the 2024 season, but more importantly, yesterday’s effort wasn’t what we had seen from this team over the last couple of weeks, where they had taken three straight division leaders to the wire.

Mac & Bone started the show this morning by talking about the general talking points from the loss and focusing on the turnovers. and the inability to stop the run, while also making fun of themselves for pre-planning a Victory Dance today, after they both picked Carolina to win on Friday’s show.

In the second hour, the guys played the very popular blame game, as they both laid blame on players and coaches, who deserved it after the way the team performed yesterday.

Also in the second hour, the guys were joined by Panthers Radio Network analyst, and WBT Hall of Famer, Jim Szoke, as he delivered his weekly view from the booth, from the loss yesterday to the Cowboys.

In the third hour, Mac & Bone opened up the phone lines, to let frustrated Panthers fans sound off after the way that Bryce and the defense looked, during the Pulse of Panthers Nation.

Lastly in the final hour, Mac & Bone talk about how the all-around effort yesterday impacts the way we are processing the rebuild that the team is currently undergoing, and if yesterday wipes away all the progress that they had made over the last month or so.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show, every weekday from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
