Steve Smith Sr Reacts To The Panthers Making The Playoffs

It took a very unique tiebreaker, but for the first time since 2017, the Carolina Panthers are postseason-bound as they host the Rams on Saturday in the Wild Card Round. Panthers legendary WR turned NFL Network Analyst Steve Smith Sr joined Kyle Bailey to react to the playoff birth and recap the loss down in Tampa Bay.

One of the biggest topics of conversation involved the officiating in the 16-14 loss to the Buccaneers, as Steve told Kyle that he agreed that the officials were bad, but noted that they are human too while trying to keep up with elite athletes in a torrential downpour, and Steve noted that officiating had nothing to do with the constant slipping, the missed FG, and big plays from the Bucs.

Steve would go on to break down what might be behind the Panthers struggles running the ball, and how they stack up for a 2nd matchup against the LA Rams.
