Bob Pockrass On NASCAR'S Settlement With 23XI & FRM
Bob Pockrass On NASCAR’s Settlement With 23XI & FRM

Over the past 15 months, NASCAR has been embroiled in an antitrust lawsuit with 2 of its own teams, 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports, with the 2 sides finally reaching a settlement on an early Thursday morning. NASCAR on Fox Reporter Bob Pockrass joined Kyle Bailey to break down what the settlement means for all parties and how this will possibly impact the sport moving ahead.
Bob started by telling Kyle this feels like a win for both 23XI and Front Row Motorsports, as it looked like the case was slipping away for NASCAR, and if they lost the case, they could be in line to pay the teams potentially a few hundred million dollars, along with Judge Bell potentially telling NASCAR had to sell their own tracks if they lost the case, which was too much to risk. Bob also noted that the biggest win for the teams is that the charters will now be permanent, which was one of the biggest factors behind this case.
The discussion with Bob went on to discuss how Michael Jordan’s involvement impacted the case, and whether Owner Richard Childress could seek litigation as fallout from the trial.
