Al Wallace: Sunday’s Loss Was Inexcusable For Carolina

Sunday was a reality check for Panthers fans everywhere as they couldn’t take advantage of a then 1-win Saints team, and lost at home 17-7 to fall back to .500 on the season. Former Carolina Panther Al Wallace joined Kyle Bailey to discuss all that went wrong against New Orleans, and if they can be fixed by next Sunday.

The biggest concern for the Panthers after the loss was the performance of Bryce Young as Al said straight up he was awful on Sunday, and he told Kyle we’re right back to some of the serious concerns surrounding Bryce as a player and whether or not he is the long-term answer, but Al made it clear, if Bryce can’t help you win, Bryce will eventually have to move out of the way and let someone else come in down the line and help the Panthers win.

Al also weighed in on the role of Dave Canales in the loss, and what he made of multiple players saying they didn’t prepare well enough for the Saints.
